RAJENDRA THAKKAR

Sherley Joseph Singh, a mother of 2 kids, a qualified entrepreneur (Alumni, Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies, Mumbai)
B.Com Graduate from Bombay University. Passed Intermediate C A exam of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. Worked as a Financial Controller in a Garment Export Company in Tirupur town of Tamil Nadu for a decade. Came back to Mumbai in the year 1994 and settled permanently.
Contested Municipal Election in Mumbai from Borivali R Central Ward in the year 2002 as an independent Candidate. Then Legislative Assembly Election in 2007 from Mumba-Devi Constituency in Mumbai as an independent candidate. In 2009 contested Member of Parliament Constituency as a candidate of Professionals Party of India.
Have filed more than 12 Public Interest Petitions ( PIL ). Most of the PIL have been admitted and good order pronounced by Bombay High Court in public favour. There are two PILs in which Court has passed order within 20 days admitting our prayer in total.
Presently associated with several social organization in Mumbai and full time social activist for the last 12 years.

 

Zeenat Kachwalla


Zeenat Kachwalla is a double graduate in the field of Commerce, Marketing & Communications and Law.
A product of the prestigious NMIMS university she has been associated with the digital marketing field for over 10 years. In her previous role she was the key account manager for various companies in the NBFC, Lifestyle and Hospitality sectors.
A firm believer in the power of legal systems and an ardent admirer of The Constitution of India, she equipped herself with a degree in law from the KC Law College. She is a member of the advisory group of The Federation of Tenants Associations which represents over 4 lakh tenants in Mumbai. As a part of the FTA, she has to actively liaise with the BMC, MHADA and other redevelopment authorities.
She has been actively trying to usher a new era in politics by supporting good governance free from the tentacles of corruption. A part of the core team of Mumbai 227, she has been involved in coordination of candidate selection, in setting up of support systems for candidates, training and mentoring them to become world class citizens' corporators of their ward.
She asserts that an efficient and clean legal system is the panacea to the evils of corruption. She has aligned herself to the objectives and goals of the Forum for Fast Justice and is a proud member of the advisory panel.
Her passion is travelling - without expectations and boundaries :-)
